Hutchinson is entering his fourth season with the Wolverines and is expected to be one of their best players this season. He entered today’s game with 3.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss and 3 forced fumbles in his career.
Michigan has a comfortable lead in this one and has turned to 5-star freshman JJ McCarthy at quarterback. Starter Cade McNamara went 9-of-11 for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Michigan did most of its damage offensively today on the ground, including a 74-yard TD run by AJ Henning.
The Wolverines are hoping to improve off of their 2-4 campaign from a season ago. With a win today, Michigan will improve to 8-0 all time vs. Western Michigan.
