It’s hard to question any decision Tom Brady makes.

Four Super Bowl rings, three Super Bowl MVPs and 11 Pro Bowls prove that the former Michigan quarterback has done alright for himself making tough calls.

But in terms of picking an NCAA Tournament champion, it might be a little difficult to see his logic. Before he even saw Michigan win the first-four game, Brady picked his alma mater to win it all:

Any suggestions for who Michigan beats in the final?

Brady had to sweat out Michigan’s First Four game on Wednesday night against Tulsa, which ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi said was the worst at-large team he’d ever seen make the tournament.

If Brady does indeed predict the future, he would be predicting history. No team worse than a No. 8 seed has ever made the NCAA Tournament Championship Game. But hey, no sixth-round quarterback had ever won four Super Bowls until Brady did so.

Michigan will have a chance to make Brady again look like the smartest man in America when it takes on Notre Dame on Friday.
