Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush excited about potential of Michigan QB Joe Milton
Despite Michigan quarterback Joe Milton only being 15/22 for 225 yards with one passing touchdown last week, Brady Quinn and Reggie Bush of FOX College Football offered some big-time praise of Milton.
Speaking earlier today on the preview show, Quinn said, “The other thing that stood out is kind of a changing of the guard there at Michigan with Joe Milton taking over as the starting quarterback. He is the first quarterback that Jim Harbaugh has recruited to start an opener. It’s crazy to think about but he looks tailor-fitted for this offense since they’ve switched to more of a spread now with their offensive coordinator Josh Gattis.”
Bush then added on to what Quinn was saying and said, “Yeah that’s going to be key, how he progresses. I can’t wait to see him continue to grow and grow throughout the season.”
Milton will have a big test today as the Wolverines play rival Michigan State at home. The game is at Noon ET and will be televised by FOX.
