Channing Goodwin will announce his college commitment later this week.

The 3-star receiver has become a top target for Michigan in the class of 2024. The Wolverines are amongst Goodwin’s other finalists, which also includes South Carolina, North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Goodwin will announce his decision on May 7 at 4 p.m. ET, per 247Sports:

Goodwin would be a huge addition for the Wolverines. He’s currently ranked as the No. 508 overall player and the No. 72 receiver in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Goodwin is currently a 4-star prospect according to 247Sports. On3, Rivals and ESPN all have him classified as a 3-star.

He attends Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds.

Michigan is off to a remarkable start in the class of 2024. The Wolverines already have 15 commitments in this cycle. The class ranks No. 1 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
