College GameDay crew picks College Football Playoff matchups
New Year’s Eve has finally arrived, bringing with it the semifinal games for the College Football Playoff.
On the final day of 2021, fans will find out who advances to the National Championship Game with matchups between Alabama-Cincinnati and Michigan-Georgia. To begin the day, ESPN’s College GameDay crew recapped the college football season and previewed the day ahead.

Howard, Goldberg, Herbstreit, and Corso also picked the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl between Wake Forest and Rutgers. The crew was unanimous in picking the Demon Deacons to win in Jacksonville after the 5-7 Scarlet Knights were added as a late replacement for Texas A&M.
