College GameDay runs incredible feature on Aidan Hutchinson's Michigan legacy
Michigan star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is creating a legacy throughout his college football career. Hutchinson is on the verge of bringing No. 2 Michigan into the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history. He already helped his team win the B1G East title as the Wolverines prepare for the B1G Championship Game against No. 13 Iowa.
College GameDay had a feature on Hutchison being the son of star Michigan defender Chris Hutchinson. His father was a first-team All-B1G selection in 1991 and 1992 as well as a first-team All-American in 1992.
Aidan gets his competitive spirit and his love for University of Michigan football from his father. Now he is following directly in his father’s football footsteps as a legendary defender.
Hutchinson has accounted for 54 total tackles, 32 solo tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He is gaining serious traction for the Heisman Trophy after a huge performance in Michigan’s 42-27 win over Ohio State last week.
For Aidan Hutchinson, the path to becoming a Michigan Wolverine was set the moment he was born.
