David Ojabo grew into the ideal pass-rushing complement to Aidan Hutchinson during the 2021 season. But before his double-digit sack tally, Ojabo had quite the path to Ann Arbor and Michigan football.

Friday morning, ESPN’s College GameDay aired an awesome feature on the Ojabo family. Originally born in Nigeria, Ojabo and his family moved to Scotland at an early age. Scotland is still a place that Ojabo refers to as home.

Originally hoping to play basketball in America, Ojabo found success on the football field and eventually wound up with the Wolverines. In 2021, Ojabo put up 11 sacks and 12 TFL while working in tandem with Hutchinson, finishing second on the Wolverines in both categories.

Now, Ojabo will turn his attention to the Georgia offense in Friday’s Orange Bowl. Before we get there, be sure to catch the incredible segment from Friday morning, courtesy of College GameDay.
