College GameDay shares beautiful feature story on family, journey of Michigan DL Kwity Paye
Kwity Paye has had an unimaginable journey to Ann Arbor.
The impact defensive lineman for the Wolverines is entering his senior season. As a junior, Paye had 50 tackles with 12.5 TFL and 6.5 sacks. In the season opener, Paye had three tackles for loss and two sacks.
On Saturday morning, ESPN’s College GameDay aired an incredible interview with Paye and his family detailing his journey as a child and throughout high school. It also touched on the heartbreaking background of his mother’s departure from Liberia and arrival in the United States.
It is definitely an amazing story of hard work, dedication, and perseverance that is culminating in Paye’s amazing play on the field:

Paye will be in action again Saturday when the Wolverines take on in-state rival Michigan State. Kickoff is set for 12 pm EST on FOX.
