Michigan is coming off a season in which it finished 19-15 and earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament as a No. 11 seed. The Wolverines were one of just two B1G programs (Purdue) to reach the Sweet 16.
North Carolina started last season off on a bumpy road but turned things around at the right time. The Tar Heels reached the national championship this year but fell short to Kansas.
