The rematch is set.

Wednesday night, Texas Tech defeated Florida State 4-1 to stay alive in the College World Series, setting up a Game 1 rematch against Michigan. The two teams will go head to head in Omaha at 2 p.m. ET on Friday.

Michigan is just one win away from punching its ticket to the College World Series championship.

The Wolverines defeated the Red Raiders 5-3 in the first game of the College World Series last Saturday. They took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning and never relinquished the advantage, leading the entire game.

On Monday, Michigan defeated Florida State 2-0 to improve to 2-0 in the tournament, earning an extended break. Pitcher Tommy Henry was phenomenal in the win, throwing a complete game shutout, giving up just three hits and registering 10 strikeouts.

Friday afternoon’s matchup between Michigan and Texas Tech will be aired on ESPN.
