Connor Stalions cannot stay out of the spotlight. The controversial former Michigan staffer is trending once again following Bryce Underwood’s flip to Michigan.
Stalions was the central figure in Michigan’s sign-stealing scandal and investigation that broke last year. After leaving Michigan, Stalions reentered the coaching world at the high school ranks. Coincidentally, Stalions has been coaching at Belleville during the state playoffs, which is Underwood’s high school in Michigan.
Social media couldn’t ignore the coincidence and lit up with posts about Stalions. Check out some of the reactions below:

While NIL undoubtedly played a major role in the flip, some fans believe it looks like the assistant is helping his former team even while coaching in high school.
The NCAA is seeking a 3-year ban of Stalions but the investigation is ongoing. Even if Stalions does end up being banned, the assistant can clearly still make a difference even at a lower level.
Bryce Underwood is not only the No. 1 QB from Michigan, but the No. 1 prospect in the country in the 2025 class. With QB play being the biggest weakness of the Wolverines in 2024, Underwood should make a difference immediately.
