Dan Mullen has weighed in on the 2023 postseason, revealing his prediction for the College Football Playoff this fall.

Mullen shared his Playoff picks and particularly noted he expects 4 conference champions to appear in the field this season. On one side of the bracket, Mullen has Texas and Michigan squaring off with 2-time champion Georgia facing USC on the other side of the bracket.

The former head coach is picking Michigan and USC advancing to the national title in what would be a preview of the new-look B1G next season. Mullen’s eventual national title pick is Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines taking down the Trojans.

Most of Mullen’s picks are somewhat reasonable with Georgia, Michigan and USC all inside the top 6 for National Championship odds this fall. Texas is a bit lower, but the Longhorns are still top 10 in the odds of winning the national title.

While the Wolverines maintain the 4th-best odds to win the title this fall, Ohio State is 3rd-best and is likely to be Michigan’s biggest threat in the B1G once again. Anyone looking to get in on the action can use our DraftKings Casino Michigan promo code.

Can Jim Harbaugh finally get over the hump and bring home his first national title as a head coach, or can Ryan Day recapture the B1G on his way to his first national title in Columbus? We’ll find out this fall.
