Davis Warren helped lead Michigan to a shocking upset win over Ohio State on Saturday afternoon.
In the aftermath of the 13-10 victory, Michigan players attempted to plant a Block M flag at midfield. A fight broke out, though, leading to police officers administering pepper spray in an attempt to break up the skirmish.
After the dust settled, Warren met with reporters to discuss Michigan’s win — and the extracurriculars after the fact.
“We’re going to win in your house and we’re gonna plant the flag,” Davis said. “You should have done something about it.”

Warren wasn’t the only Michigan player to take exception to Ohio State’s postgame reaction. Running back Kalel Mullings called it “classless” and suggested Ohio State needed to “learn how to lose.”
This victory is a sweet end to a bitter season for the Wolverines. Michigan is now 7-5 on the season and will not play again until its bowl game. However, the ability to knock Ohio State out of the Big Ten Championship Game is certainly a worthwhile consolation prize.
This is Michigan’s 4th consecutive win in this series. It represents Michigan’s longest winning streak over Ohio State since 1988-91.
