Michigan finally did it. The Wolverines beat Ohio State soundly 42-27 Saturday afternoon in snowy Ann Arbor. They won the game with a physical ground presence.

RB Hassan Haskins was the star of the show in Saturday’s win over the Buckeyes. He carried the ball 28 times for 169 yards on 6 yards per carry and 5 touchdowns.

ESPN analyst Desmond Howard had this to say about Haskins’ 5 touchdown performance against bitter rival Ohio State.

Howard believes since RB Kenneth Walker III received so much praise about him scoring 5 touchdowns against Michigan that Haskins should receive the same Heisman front runner talk.

A QB or 2 down south may disagree with Howard on who the Heisman front runner is in early December.

Haskins has been outstanding for Michigan in tandem with RB Blake Corum. This season for the Wolverines, Haskins has carried the ball 244 times for 1,232 yards on 5 yards per carry and rushing for 18 touchdowns.

He will have the chance to pad to his stats next week when the Wolverines go to Indianapolis to face No. 16 Iowa in the B1G Championship Game.
