Championship Week brought us another great rendition of games as we head into bowl season and ultimately the College Football Playoff. Desmond Howard of ESPN ranked his Top 5 Game Changers of the past week.

Of course, Howard had to give his alma mater the Michigan Wolverines some love as he ranked QB J.J. McCarthy second in his Game Changers of the Week.

Here is the rest of the list:

McCarthy in the B1G Championship game against Purdue was 11-of-17 for 161 yards 3 touchdowns and 1 interception in a 43-22 win over Purdue. He helped the Wolverines clinch the No. 2-seed in the College Football Playoff and helped Michigan go undefeated.

McCarthy this season played in 13 games was  188-of-288 throwing for 2,376 yards 20 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions.

Michigan will face off against No. 3 TCU in the first CFP semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona. Kickoff is set for 4:00 ET.
