The legend of Tom Brady is unmatched, but the run he went on in 2020 is even more impressive after a series of Thursday reports.

It was revealed earlier in the year that Brady played through a knee injury throughout the season and Tampa Bay’s run to the Super Bowl. The severity of that injury is just now coming to light.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Brady played through a fully torn MCL that required surgery after the Super Bowl win. Rick Stroud with the Tampa Bay Times also reported that Brady originally injured the knee during his last season with the Patriots but the knee got worse during 2020.

Even for the GOAT, that is impressive. Brady threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns during the Super Bowl. He also threw for over 4,600 yards with 40 touchdowns during the regular season.

After such an incredible season with a banged-up knee at 43-years-old, it is time to ask once again: is there anything Brady cannot do?
