Devin Bush was voted the B1G’s Linebacker of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and was a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. But the former Michigan star will be adding one more award to his shelf.

On Thursday, Bush was named the University of Michigan Male Athlete of the Year after an outstanding junior season on the football field. Wolverines’ women’s tennis player Kate Fahey was named the Michigan Female Athlete of the Year.

Both will now be candidates for the B1G Athlete of the Year.

Bush tallied 79 total tackles last season, helping guide the Wolverines to a 10-3 season and an appearance in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. He also registered nine tackles for loss, five sacks and broke up six passes.

In his three-year career in Ann Arbor, Bush totaled 193 tackles, 19 for loss, 10 sacks and an interception. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 10th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
