Larry Prout Jr. is as big of a Michigan fan as you’ll find.
the teenager cloaks himself in maize and blue, sports Michigan jerseys, shirts, hats, shoes and even some receiver gloves. He’s a truly devoted fan in every regard. Andon Saturday, the teenager got to enjoy the experience of a lifetime, spending the day with the Wolverines and running out onto the field before the Ohio State game.
Prout, who was born with spina bifida, a condition in which the membranes and backbone around the spinal cord don’t fully close, enjoyed every second of his time inside Michigan Stadium. After the game on Saturday, he shared his appreciation for the opportunity on Twitter, thanking everyone wearing the maize and blue
Prout as undergone over 100 surgeries in his lifetime but continues to have a positive outlook. Last season, Harbaugh had Prout sign a National Letter of Intent to become an official member of the football team.
Michigan may not have won the game against Ohio State on Saturday, but it sure did score a victory for its most dedicated fan.
