Diving punt block, insane TD grab powers latest scoring drive for Michigan
#6 Michigan is in the middle of their last true road trip of the 2021 college football season versus Maryland.
The Wolverines were able to continue to take back the momentum late in the second quarter starting with Michigan wide receiver and special teamer Matt Torey diving for a blocked punt of Maryland punter Anthony Percorella.
It was a huge momentum-builder for the Wolverines early in the game.

Michigan recovered the ball at Maryland’s 43-yard line where it only took the offense to extend their lead 21-3 in a four-play, 42-yard drive. They finished their short drive with a 13-yard one-handed touchdown catch by wide receiver Mike Sainristil from quarterback J.J. McCarthy. Michigan currently leads Maryland 24-3 at halftime.

That was one of the best catches you’ll see this weekend.
Michigan is looking to improve to 10-1 to set up a showdown with Ohio State that will send the winner to Indianapolis for the B1G Championship Game.
