Is this finally the year that Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines reach their goals?

Harbaugh is entering Year 7 leading Michigan, a stretch that has produced some positive results but plenty of disappointing finishes. Among other things, Harbaugh has gone 0-5 against Ohio State with the 2020 contest getting canceled due to COVID-19.

Heading into 2021, the Wolverines are coming off a 2-4 campaign during the shortened season. That included wins over Minnesota and Rutgers but losses to in-state rival Michigan State and Indiana, Wisconsin, and Penn State.

But just because last year was a struggle, do not expect Harbaugh to run from big expectations. During his appearance at Thursday’s B1G Media Day, he put the goals for this year at beating Ohio State and winning a B1G title.

“We’re gonna do it, or die trying,” said Harbaugh.

We’ll see how that works out this season.
