Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum have helped Michigan right the ship vs. Rutgers in a hot turnaround. After trailing the Scarlet Knights by a field goal at the half, the Wolverines have spun the game on its head in about 9 minutes.

The first touchdown came on a beautiful touchdown throw from JJ McCarthy to Edwards. One of Michigan’s lethal receiving threats out of the backfield, Edwards won his one-on-one matchup with a beautiful catch in the back of the end zone.

After a quick interception, Corum and the offense went right back to work. He produced an acrobatic and tough rushing touchdown to build the lead to double digits.

Though that was a hot start alone, Mike Barrett added to the scoring blitz by the Wolverines. He picked off a Gavin Wimsatt pass and returned it all the way for a touchdown to make it 21 unanswered points for Michigan.

We’ll see if things hold up, but Michigan is back in front and looks well in control after the scare.
