The Battle of Ohio went up a notch when Baker Mayfield hit Donovan Peoples-Jones for a long touchdown early in the 2nd quarter.

Cleveland was up 14-7 going into that play and Mayfield let it rip as Peoples-Jones got open. He caught the ball in stride for the touchdown to extend the Browns lead to 21-7.

That was 7 of the Browns’ 17 points that quarter as they went into Cincinnati and punched the Bengals in the mouth. They ended up leading by 14 at the half, 24-10.

This was People-Jones’ 1st catch of the day before snagging another one in the 2nd half. He was one of the players that were mentioned that needed to step up now that Odell Beckham Jr. is no longer with the team. He was released earlier this week after being frustrated for multiple reasons.
