Donovan Peoples-Jones top-performing WR in two drills at NFL Combine
Donovan Peoples-Jones is off to a solid start at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
The former Michigan wide receiver posted the best numbers in the vertical jump and broad jump among his position group on Thursday evening. His vertical was set at 44.5 inches — best mark by 2.5 inches. His broad jump was marked at 11 feet 7 inches. TCU’s Jalen Reagor was No. 2 in both.

Peoples-Jones is looking to improve his draft stock after declaring for the NFL Draft following his junior season with the Wolverines. Last season, he caught 34 passes for 438 yards and six touchdowns.
ESPN NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. wasn’t too high on Peoples-Jones coming into the NFL Scouting Combine, this provides the wide receiver with a chance to prove some people wrong. He’s off to a good start.
