Elite 2023 CB out of Texas includes Michigan in updated top 6 list
One of the top cornerbacks in the 2023 recruiting cycle is whittling down his list, and Michigan remains in the running for a talented defender out of Texas.
The player is Malik Muhammad, a 4-star CB out of Dallas, Texas. He updated his recruitment to a top 6 list Thursday evening with the Wolverines alongside in-state options Texas and Texas A&M. Florida, Alabama and Miami were the rest of Muhammad’s list.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Muhammad is a 4-star prospect and the No. 6 CB nationally for the class of 2023. He is also a top-50 recruit and is ranked No. 42 nationally regardless of position.
As things currently stand, Michigan holds the No. 16 recruiting class nationally. The Wolverines are currently without a CB commitment for the cycle.
