ESPN’s FPI is predicting every game on Michigan’s 2023 schedule, but the system is not high on the 2-time defending B1G champs this fall. While Michigan is second in the Big Ten Championship odds, the Football Power Index lists the most likely record for the Wolverines as 9.9-2.3.

The FPI also doesn’t see Michigan repeating as B1G champions. According to the system, the Wolverines have just a 20.5% chance to win their division and a 16.3% chance to win the conference. Michigan fans that are optimistic that the team can buck those odds can take part in our Michigan Online Casinos promo code this fall.

In terms of the FPI’s game-by-game projections, the system sees the Wolverines skating into November with an undefeated record. The Wolverines have at least a 74% chance to win every game until the road trip to Penn State with better than a 90% chance to win in 6 of those contests.

After the calendar flips to November, the competition gets ramped up for Michigan with road trips to Penn State and Maryland before The Game against Ohio State. The Wolverines will need to handle their business early in the season and hopefully remain healthy for the stretch at season’s end.
