Michigan and Rutgers will meet in a battle of unbeaten teams in Week 4.

Michigan has its first 3-0 start to the season since the 2017 season. The Scarlet Knights are on their first 3-0 start to the season for the first time since the 2012. This Saturday will set up a big battle between the undefeated teams in Ann Arbor.

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI), Michigan has an 87.5% projection to defeat Rutgers this Saturday. The Wolverines are favored to win the remainder of their games this season, according to ESPN’s FPI.

Their lowest projected win is currently 50.4% over Penn State on the road. Michigan is projected to defeat their rivals in the No. 10 Ohio Buckeyes. ESPN’s FPI has Michigan with the ninth toughest strength of schedule remaining in 2021.

Last season, Michigan defeated Rutgers 48-42 in triple overtime. Cade McNamara threw for 260 yards and 4 touchdowns in the victory.

Kick off is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
