Wisconsin and Michigan are set for a tough battle in Week 7 with a lot to play for.

Both teams enter the contest with one loss on the season. Michigan lost a tough game to Notre Dame in the season opener while Wisconsin suffered a heart-breaking upset at the hands of BYU. Another loss would likely all but eliminate each team from the College Football Playoff.

For the Wolverines, they have responded well since the loss to the Fighting Irish. Michigan has had just one close scare to Northwestern while winning five straight. Four of those five wins have come by 21 points or more.

For the Badgers, they have responded with back-to-back wins since being upset by BYU. Those two wins came over Iowa and Nebraska, but traveling on the road to take on Michigan presents a different challenge.

On ESPN’s latest Football Power Index Michigan and Wisconsin checked in at No. 6 and No. 11 respectively. Both are having solid seasons, but only one can come out on top Saturday.

With that in mind, ESPN’s FPI has updated predictions for Saturday’s big game. The latest prediction heavily favors Michigan and gives the Wolverines a 73.9% to beat the Badgers. Anything can certainly happen, but it looks like Wisconsin will face a tough task on the road Saturday.

Who do you think comes out on top? Saturday’s kickoff is set for 7:30 pm EST on ABC.
