Michigan finally has something to celebrate to end the regular season, winning its first matchup vs. Ohio State since 2011.

It was an impressive performance on both sides of the ball for the Wolverines. Offensively, Hassan Haskins was the star, but Cade McNamara also played well in the win. He shook off an early interception to convert some important passes down the field that produced key moments in drives.

After the game, McNamara discussed how much this win means to the players in the program:

“We have a drill called ‘Beat Ohio,’ and that right there is why we do it,” explained McNamara. “This is everything I’ve dreamed of.”

Star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson also turned in a big-time performance in the win. Hutchinson registered 3 sacks and impacted a number of other plays while getting into the backfield consistently vs. the Buckeyes.

“This is the best moment of my life,” Hutchinson said when asked about the win. “I manifested it, I’m here with my family, with my teammates on this glorious day, and we just beat Ohio State.

Now, the Wolverines can get ready for a B1G Championship Game appearance next Saturday.
