On Thursday Night Football in the NFL this week, the New England Patriots are hosting the New York Giants.

Seems like a bit of a mismatch, right?

Well, yeah. But, that doesn’t mean that incredible plays can’t happen.

On one Giants possession, the team from New York was forced to punt. The Giants got their punt off in the late portion of the first quarter, except one thing went wrong: the punt hit the back of one of their players’ helmets.

Take a look at the punt that ended up being bounced into the air and caught by former Michigan Wolverine DL Chase Winovich:

Winovich houses the punt, which didn’t take him too long since he was within seven yards of the end-zone. The concentration and catching part of the play was impressive nonetheless.

The former Wolverine was selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Patriots.
