Executive Director of the Senior Bowl lists Wolverine offense as unit to watch in 2022
Michigan is looking to repeat as B1G Champions in 2022 but must replace some key pieces on the defensive side of the ball. Fortunately, the Wolverines should have a strong offense featuring a number of returning players.
Jim Nagy – Executive Director of the Reese’s Senior Bowl – recently highlighted Michigan’s offense as a unit to watch this season. Included in Nagy’s assessment is the Senior Bowl hoping to see a healthy Ronnie Bell after his season-ending injury a year ago.
Last year, Bell had a huge touchdown and a nice punt return against Western Michigan before going down with an injury. With a career average of 16.6 yards per catch, Bell appeared primed for a big season before his injury.
Nagy also tabbed WR Cornelius Johnson, TE Luke Schoonmaker and LT Ryan Hayes as players the Senior Bowl will be monitoring during the season.
.@UMichFootball’s offense will be fun to watch this fall. @seniorbowl is excited to see Ronnie Bell healthy, Cornelius Johnson has legit deep gear, Luke Schoonmaker’s blocking will make him favorite of NFL TE coaches, & LT Ryan Hayes is ascending.#TheDraftStartsInMOBILE™️ pic.twitter.com/sP941SADGL
