Jim Harbaugh’s fashion is under criticism again. This time, it’s not actually something he chose to wear, but what happened to his wardrobe during Michigan’s trip to Penn State over the weekend.

A photo from Saturday’s game in Happy Valley emerged of Harbaugh’s pants getting burned by a space heater. For at least a few moments, the phrase, “liar, liar, pants on fire” was comically appropriate.

Below are the images of Harbaugh’s pants after getting a little too close to the space heater. Maybe his “get back” coach should have to pull him away from that situation next time.

The good news is that this wardrobe malfunction didn’t seem to affect Harbaugh’s coaching Saturday afternoon. Michigan escaped Beaver Stadium with a 21-17 victory to improve to 9-1 on the season, remaining in contention for a B1G title.

It’s November in the Midwest, which means the cold weather is here to stay. Space heaters are going to continue to be placed on the sideline each Saturday.

Harbaugh might want to put a little more distance between himself and those heaters next time. Then again, he can probably afford to buy a new pair of pants.
