First blood: AJ Henning puts Michigan on the board thanks to great play design
No. 5 Michigan strikes first in the heated rivalry between against No. 2 Ohio State.
In the first drive for Michigan, they were able to take a ten-play, 75-yard drive for the first points on the scoreboard.
After a 17-yard run from running back Hassan Haskins, wide receiver A.J. Henning was able to take a reverse for a 14-yard running score. Michigan will be able to get points on the board consistently with great runs from their rushing game and trick plays.

That touchdown gave Michigan an early 7-0 lead in The Game. The Wolverines have scored first in 4 of the last 5 meetings, including Saturday.
It hasn’t mattered much in the past. Will it be different this season?
