Florida’s Chauncey Gardner-Johnson threw a bit of shade following the big win over Michigan.
After ending the regular season with a devastating loss to Ohio State, the Wolverines entered Saturday’s Peach Bowl hopeful to end the season on a high note. Unfortunately, the Gators rolled to a 41-15 blowout win in Atlanta.
Michigan was playing without four key members that decided to skip the bowl to prepare for the NFL. Still, fans were likely expecting a better gameplan and showing after plenty of practice time leading up to the game.
Gardner-Johnson particularly took aim at Michigan’s preparation following the game, saying he didn’t think they prepared well:

For what it’s worth, Gardner-Johnson finished the game with five tackles and two interceptions, including a game-sealing pick-six. After a win like that, he earned the right to talk, at least for one day.
