Former Michigan G Isaiah Barnes has found a new home. The Wolverine transfer will continue his college basketball career at Tulsa.

Barnes announced the news on social media.

Out of Simeon High School in Chicago, Barnes was a 4-star prospect in the 2021 class on the 247Sports Composite. He chose U-M over 15 other scholarship offers.

In his first season at Michigan, Barnes logged 6 minutes of playing time, appearing in the final minutes of games against Arizona and North Carolina. Barnes was recently granted a redshirt for the season by the NCAA.

This past season, Barnes made 15 appearances off the bench. He averaged 1.1 points and 1.1 rebounds over 6.1 minutes per game. Barnes posted a career-high 6 points against Kentucky in the London Showcase. He logged 14 minutes in the rivalry contest against Michigan State on Jan. 7.

With the redshirt granted for 2021-22, Barnes has 3 remaining seasons of eligibility as he heads to Tulsa to play for the Golden Hurricane.
