Former Michigan OL Ben Braden signs with new NFL team
Ben Braden is on the move again.
On Monday, the Denver Broncos announced the signing of Braden, who was released by the Green Bay Packers back in January. Signing with Denver reunites Braden with Nathaniel Hackett, the former Packers offensive coordinator who took the Broncos head coaching job.
Braden joined the league in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of U-M. In his NFL career, he has appeared in 16 over 4 seasons.
Braden has bounced around the league, spending time with the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers (2 stints), New England Patriots and now Denver Broncos. His on-field playing time came with the Jets (3 games, 2018-19) and Pcckers (13 games, 2020-21).
It’s reportedly a 1-year deal for Braden.
