On Monday, it was reported that former 4-star RB Kareem Walker was cleared to play by the NCAA Clearinghouse. According to 247 Sports, Walker is set to go through the acclimation process at Mississippi State before joining the Bulldogs. But once ready, he will bring depth to their backfield.

Walker saw action with the Wolverines as a redshirt freshman in 2017, rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown. He joined Michigan as a member of the 2016 recruiting class and was rated as the No. 4 overall RB in the country for that cycle.

Walker spent 2018 with Fort Scott Community College in Kansas after transferring from Michigan. It will be interesting to see if he can make an impact in the SEC.
