Former Michigan standout Kwity Paye is having himself a season for the Indianapolis Colts. The pass rusher collected a sack against the Atlanta Falcons, which was the 47th sack of the season for the Colts as a team. That is officially the most sacks in a season the Colts have had since being in Indianapolis.

The 2004 Colts had 45 sacks and the 2005 Colts had 46 sacks. This 2023 unit has been led by Samson Ebukam, who has 9.5 sacks.

Paye now has 8.5 sacks on the season, which is easily a career-high for the third-year player.

The defensive end was selected with the No. 21 pick of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Colts. Paye had a successful four-year career for the Wolverines from 2017-20. Paye collected 59 tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks during his college career.

The Colts are currently locked in a three-way tie atop the AFC South. The Colts, Texans, and Jaguars are all tied at 8-6. The Colts are battling against the Falcons, currently tied at 7 in the 2nd quarter.
