Former Michigan standout basketball player Nik Stauskas had a night to remember for the Grand Rapids Gold, a team in the G-League.
Stauskas scored 57 points in a 131-127 win over the Wisconsin Herd on Tuesday night. He scored a G-League record 38 points in the first half and connected on 11-of-15 shots from behind the 3-point line.
The 57 points Stauskas scored is the sixth-highest mark in G-League history. He was also 20-of-29 on all field goal attempts for the contest:

Stauskas was the B1G Player of the Year in 2014 and was also a second-team All-American selection and first-team All-B1G pick. He was selected as the No. 8 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings.
Over the past decade, Stauskas has bounced around the NBA and G-League. His performance on Tuesday night will certainly have NBA teams looking at adding that kind of shooting to a roster.
