One of the best receivers in Michigan’s history is ready for Saturday’s game against Michigan State. He made that loud and clear on Twitter Wednesday evening.
Braylon Edwards, who set the program records for career receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches, is fired up about this weekend’s in-state rivalry game between Michigan-Michigan State. He decided to share his excitement on Twitter, saying “Gotta love this time of year when you get to take your little siblings to the park and embarrass them.”
To top it all off, Edwards posted an image of a spectacular catch he made over a Spartan defender during his maize and blue days.

This is what a rivalry game is all about.
Edwards torched Michigan State in 2004, catching 11 passes for 189 yards and three touchdowns in one of the best games in the series. The Wolverines overcame a 27-10 deficit to knock off the Spartans 45-37 in a game that went into triple overtime.
We can only hope for something as exciting as that again this year.
