One of the top pro-style quarterbacks in the 2018 recruiting class says he’ll begin his career at Michigan early.

Sunday night, the four-star gunslinger announced his intention to arrive in Ann Arbor this winter via Twitter. He was at Michigan Stadium this past weekend for The Game.

Milton was one of the top quarterback prospects of the 2018 class and was ranked as the eighth-best pro-style quarterback. He has hauled in 25 offers, including four from B1G programs. The Florida native ultimately chose Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines.

Michigan has had its struggles at the quarterback position recently, but it seems to be progressing in a positive direction. With the graduation of John O’Korn and Wilton Speight announcing he’ll be transferring from the program, Brandon Peters becomes the most experienced gunslinger on the roster.

Now that Milton is arriving for spring football, he might be the biggest challenger to Peters for that starting role.
