“Free Harbaugh” is the message that Michigan’s players are preaching on Saturday before the Wolverines play their second of three games without Jim Harbaugh at the helm.

Harbaugh is currently serving a 3-game suspension that keeps him off the sideline for the end of Michigan’s season. The Wolverines managed without him last week against Penn State, and now they’ll face Maryland and Ohio State to finish up the season. Michigan initially planned to fight the suspension, trying to file a temporary restraining order to hold off the suspension, but it ultimately accepted Harbaugh’s punishment this week.

Ahead of Michigan’s contest with Maryland on Saturday, which kicks off at noon ET, Wolverines’ wide receiver Roman Wilson was spotted wearing a shirt that said “Free Harbaugh.” Harbaugh’s suspension only keeps him away from the team on game days. He is still allowed to coach the team during the week.

Wilson has been a huge part of Michigan’s offense this season with 589 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s looking for a big game on Saturday to ensure his team gets a win without their head coach.
