Rashan Gary’s announcement was viewed all over the world by college football fans. They got to watch the nation’s No. 1 player announce his commitment to Michigan, marking the biggest signing of the Jim Harbaugh era.
Harbaugh was a little busy hosting a “Signing of the Stars” party with seemingly every Michigan-related celebrity and then some.
So how did he find out about Gary’s commitment?
He briefly stepped away from the madness to have ESPN announcer Mike Tirico inform him of the news:

It wasn’t the thunderous roar some might expect from Harbaugh, but the fist pump says it all.
Harbaugh cannot address Gary by name until he officially sends in his National Letter of Intent, which he said he was planning on doing when he returned to New Jersey.
