We are heading into the middle of November for this year’s college football season. In the B1G, that means chillier temps and the potential for some snowy environments, which is what we saw in Happy Valley for Week 11.

For the game between Penn State and Michigan, the forecast produced temps in the upper-30s with precipitation in the area. Snow flurries were seen on and off throughout the game, and it was a scene that Michigan QBs coach Matt Weiss mentioned after the game.

Weiss cited a passage from 2 Samuel, describing the scene of a man slaying a lion in “a pit on a snowy day.” Beaver Stadium may or may not fit the bill as a “pit,” but the Wolverines were (Nittany) Lion slayers this time around.

Michigan is now 2-0 since the loss to Michigan State with games remaining against Maryland and Ohio State.
