Michigan is angry.

After getting blown out by Penn State in Happy Valley last week, it’s understandable why the Wolverines would want to get back on the field and take out their frustration. And that’s exactly what this group plans to do this Saturday against Rutgers.

In an interview with Rivals, Michigan receiver Grant Perry said the plan for this week is to move past the loss and focus all the attention on beating the Scarlet Knights.

“We’re definitely disappointed after the loss,” Perry said. “If we all stayed disappointed it wouldn’t be good for this week. We all agreed that we’re going to move on and take our frustrations out on Rutgers.”

That’s not a good thing for the Scarlet Knights, especially considering last year’s lopsided contest. The Wolverines defeated Rutgers 78-0 in Piscataway in one of the most embarrassing games of the season.

Dominating a team that emphatically would be hard to replicate, but running into an angry Michigan team could be a really difficult match-up for Rutgers.

Rutgers and Michigan are scheduled to kickoff at noon ET on Saturday in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines enter the game with a 5-2 mark while the Scarlet Knights sit at 3-4.

The game will be broadcast on Big Ten Network.
