Gus Johnson is on the call for Michigan’s Week 12 matchup vs. Maryland, and what was once a blowout has turned into a dramatic affair in the second half.

Despite trailing big at one point, the Terrapins have rallied to keep things a one-score game into the final moments of the fourth quarter. That kept the pressure on the Wolverines with punter Tommy Doman stepping into a clutch position.

Facing a 4th-and-19, Michigan had to punt the ball away, and Doman delivered a beauty with a punt dropped at the one-yard line with magnificent English. Johnson lost his mind over the punt, calling it in typical epic fashion.

“This one… oh my god! What English! Tommy Doman,” exclaimed Johnson.

That punt paid off with Taulia Tagovailoa called for intentional grounding in the end zone of the ensuing drive. That led to a safety for the Wolverines and 2 points to make it 31-24 with just over 3 minutes left in the game.
