Jim Harbaugh fires at Tennessee coach
Last week, Jim Harbaugh took exception to Georgia coach Kirby Smart suggesting that he was walking a fine line by having spring break practices in Florida.
On Thursday, Harbaugh fired off another shot at the SEC.
Arkansas coach Bret Bielema suggested on Wednesday that he was planning on making a trip to Michigan’s open practice at IMG Academy. Michigan coach Mark Dantonio responded to Bielema by asking him if he wanted to grab lunch.
Tennessee coach Butch Jones, who has been under fire because of numerous sexual assault scandals involving his team, jokingly asked if he could join them for lunch.
Harbaugh noticed, and promptly opened fire:
Suggestion to my Rocky Top colleague, rather than lunch in Florida you might spend your time and focus attending to your present team.

Tennessee, of course, made headlines when it reportedly offered 20 IMG Academy players scholarships right before Michigan was set to start up spring camp. Harbaugh hadn’t addressed that directly. Perhaps this was his way of doing so.
Bielema did say that he was told by the NCAA that he wasn’t allowed to attend the practices because it was during a quiet period. It remains to be seen if that means all coaches will have to avoid IMG.
But here’s hoping Jones still makes the trip.
