By now, everyone knows that Jim Harbaugh is an involved participant whenever he’s at a sporting event.

We’ve seen him rock cleats while coaching and while throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley Field a few months ago. We’ve seen him serve as the towel boy for his brother-in-law Tom Crean during an Indiana basketball game. And naturally, Harbaugh brings his glove to a baseball game.

Harbaugh, along with his wife and father, was on hand for Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night. But he wasn’t there to kick back and relax.

Harbaugh didn’t end up getting a ball from his seat in the bleachers, but he did witness a Cubs victory.

And while the zero foul balls caught were likely a disappointment for him, there was one stat that should’ve made him happy.
