By now, you know what Jim Harbaugh was doing on Thursday night/Friday morning. He made plans to sleep over at the house of the nation’s No. 1 kicker, Quinn Nordin, in hopes of flipping his commitment from Penn State to Michigan.

Harbaugh did indeed make the trip to Rockford, Michigan on Thursday night. Upon his arrival in Nordin’s neighborhood, he got a friendly reminder that not everyone in the state of Michigan bleeds maize and blue.

But Harbaugh, as he often does, had some fun with the pro-MSU household in Nordin’s neighborhood. He showed them some love on social media on Friday morning.

In terms of the actual visit with Nordin, all appears to be going as scheduled. Nordin had planned on introducing Harbaugh to some people at Rockford High before making the trip out to Ann Arbor for his official visit.

That, according to Nordin, is happening:

It remains to be seen whether or not Harbaugh’s highly public visit with the Penn State commit will be enough to sway him. Nordin did say that it would be “extremely hard” to get him to flip.

At the very least, Harbaugh is showing the world that he’s a man of his word.
