Jim Harbaugh has been one of the prominent head coaches in college football since taking over at Michigan before the start of the 2015 season. He was the guy who would return the program to glory and national prominence.
But the belief that the former UM quarterback can turn the Wolverines into a college football powerhouse is beginning to dwindle after Saturday’s loss to Notre Dame.
Saturday night was an opportunity for Harbaugh to prove his critics wrong and show the world that he could be the leader of a nationally prominent program. It was a chance to show that Michigan was a contender in the B1G and for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
That evaporated after the 24-17 loss, a game in which Michigan looked nothing like a top 15 team. And after the game, Harbaugh’s critics were out in full force on Twitter. Here’s a look at what some folks were saying after the Wolverines dropped to 0-1. Nobody was holding any punches:

Jim Harbaugh has already made $20+ MILLION coaching Michigan. If he actually believes all his preaching about accountability, he shouldn't accept ANOTHER DOLLAR until he starts performing.
