Harbaugh's X-Men? Blake Corum takes coach's comparison to heart with perfect accessory
After Michigan beat Wisconsin in Week 5, Jim Harbaugh compared his team to the X-Men.
This week, after the Wolverines beat Northwestern 33-7, running back Blake Corum showed up to his press conference looking an awful lot like Cyclops — one of the X-Men. So did Harbaugh mean that literally?

Corum has looked more like Quicksilver, though. The sophomore ranked 4th in the B1G entering the Northwestern game with 101.7 rush yards per game and ran for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Wildcats.
He’s a big reason why Michigan’s rushing offense is the best in the B1G, averaging 246.5 yards per game heading into Week 8. Corum and the Wolverines have quite a task ahead next week, though, as they head to East Lansing to take on undefeated Michigan State.
Kickoff for that game hasn’t been announced.
